Had an al pastor super burrito with refried beans here. Verdict: if you want a burrito and if Bravo is open, go to bravo instead. Construction: 2/5 - sloppy construction and it was wrapped unevenly so my first 1/3 of the burrito was heavily tortilla Distribution: 4/5 - good distribution, every bite has good amount of meat/bean/rice, etc. Protein: 2/5 - pastor feels overcook/old. Doesn't really taste anything and it's chunky and dry Rice/bean: 3/5 - normal performance Price: 2/5-10$ for super burrito is on the higher end in redwood city no chips and salsa

I used to go here when it was the Taco Stop. I didn't realize it had changed owners, but it was fantastic. The quality of the meat was very good. In the old days there was an extensive salsa bar - obviously impossible under covid, but the salsas that were available were fresh and very different from each other. Something for everyone. The prices can't be beat - 2 super tacos for $7, and not tiny street tacos for that price. The only thing I didn't like was that the chips that clearly came from one of those giant bags. Such good salsa, it would be so good on fresher chips!

Great service and food. We ordered the enchiladas plates, which were delicious and highly recommended. We will be back to try different plates.

The Birria tacos were "Da Bomb" delish. They serve a plate of three sauce dipped tortillas with the tenderest meat inside with melted cheese. Definitely going there again. The place was ok as looks go, they need to upgrade the place a bit.

I have been going faithfully to Rosita's for the past 15 years, and so i am biased in saying i don't like the new restaurant as much. The salsa used to be amazing, but now it is blah (still hot though). The food flavor is still good, but has changed a bit. The food seems to be a little bit more on the sweet side. I will still keep coming here, but i do miss the old Rosita's.
